Vice President, Global ASU and SPS Project Delivery

Li Bing is vice president, Global ASU & SPS Project Delivery, at Air Products. He leads the company’s global Air Separation Unit (ASU) and Standard Plant Solutions (SPS) project delivery organization, overseeing project development, engineering, execution, manufacturing and delivery performance.

Mr. Li joined Air Products in 2000 as manager of Equipment and Manufacturing in Asia Engineering, where he led equipment localization for China projects and export programs. He held roles of increasing responsibility in engineering and manufacturing, including senior manager of Mechanical Engineering and general manager of China Manufacturing, during which he established the Caojing manufacturing facility. He later led manufacturing operations in China and Malaysia and expanded his responsibilities to global strategies for integrated gases manufacturing and cold box design. In 2018, he was appointed executive director of Asia Project Execution and Manufacturing with accountability for regional project execution and manufacturing. In 2020, his role expanded to include EPC project execution in Asia, encompassing global gasification projects.  He was named vice president, Global ASU Project Delivery in October 2025 and assumed his current position in May 2026.

Prior to joining Air Products, Mr. Li served as deputy director at the Technical and Quality Supervisory Center of Chemical Equipment in the Ministry of Chemical Industry in China. 

Mr. Li holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanjing Tech University and an EMBA from the University of Texas.
