Thomas P. Trexler

Thomas P. Trexler is vice president, EHS&Q, Sustainability and Operational Excellence, at Air Products. He is responsible for establishing EHS&Q policies and standards, and setting and tracking performance goals. He is also responsible for the company’s global sustainability programs, including the Sustainability Leadership Council, which sets Air Products’ sustainability strategy, as well as the global Operational Excellence organization, which provides governance and technical, operational, training and work process expertise to the company’s regional Operations teams. 

Mr. Trexler joined Air Products in 1998 as a participant in the company’s Career Development Program. Following a variety of engineering assignments, he held operations site leadership positions in LaPorte and Baytown, Texas, as well as Sparrows Point, Maryland. In 2012, Mr. Trexler relocated to global headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he was named global technical manager for the Generated Gases product line. He was appointed operations line manager for the Northern Region, Americas in 2014 and director of HyCO Operations, Americas in 2017. In 2019, Mr. Trexler was named vice president of Operations, Americas, where he was responsible for the operation and maintenance of all operating assets in North and South America. He subsequently joined Air Company, where he served as vice president of Operations, before returning to Air Products in 2023 as vice president, Environment, Health, Safety and Quality. 

Mr. Trexler holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering and an MBA, both from The Pennsylvania State University.
